Formats a date according to a format string.

Formats a date according to a format string.

Parameters:

  • $object (mixed)
  • $format (string)

Returns: string

Availability

  • Compiled (AOT): supported through the Elephc compiler.
  • eval() (magician interpreter): supported through the procedural date/time alias dispatcher.
