Releases an image handle. A no-op since PHP 8.0.

Parameters:

  • $image (mixed)

Returns: bool

Availability

  • Compiled (AOT): supported through the compiler-injected image prelude.
  • eval() (magician interpreter): not available inside eval’d code.
