Returns an image file's size, type, and MIME type.

function getimagesize(string $filename): mixed

Returns an image file’s size, type, and MIME type.

Parameters:

  • $filename (string)

Returns: mixed

Availability

  • Compiled (AOT): supported through the compiler-injected image prelude.
  • eval() (magician interpreter): not available inside eval’d code.
