Reads or sets the directory session data is stored in.

Parameters:

  • $path (?string), default null, optional

Returns: mixed

Availability

  • Compiled (AOT): supported through an injected elephc-PHP prelude.
  • eval() (magician interpreter): not available inside eval’d code.
