Generates a new session id, optionally with a prefix.

Parameters:

• $prefix (string), default '', optional

Returns: mixed

Availability

• Compiled (AOT): supported through an injected elephc-PHP prelude.
• eval() (magician interpreter): not available inside eval’d code.
