set_exception_handler()

function set_exception_handler(mixed $callback): mixed

Installs an uncaught-exception handler and returns the previous handler.

Parameters:

• $callback (mixed)

Returns: mixed

Availability

• Compiled (AOT): supported by the Elephc code generator.
• eval() (magician interpreter): supported through a declarative interpreter builtin (crates/elephc-magician/src/interpreter/builtins/core/set_exception_handler.rs).
