Returns the server version as a string.

Returns the server version as a string.

Parameters:

  • $mysql (mixed)

Returns: string

Availability

  • Compiled (AOT): supported through an injected elephc-PHP prelude.
  • eval() (magician interpreter): not available inside eval’d code.
